How BoardMate collects, uses and protects personal data under the PDPA 2010.

Effective 6 October 2026. BoardMate Sdn. Bhd. (202401054990 (1600834-P)), Level 13A, Ace Tower, B02-B, Menara 3, No. 3, Jalan Bangsar, KL Eco City, 59200 Kuala Lumpur handles personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number and address.
  • Identity documents and particulars of directors, shareholders and beneficial owners, as required for statutory filings and KYC.
  • Company, financial and payroll information needed to deliver our services.
  • Website usage data such as pages visited and browser type.

  • To respond to enquiries and deliver the services you engage us for.
  • To prepare and lodge statutory documents with SSM, LHDN and other authorities.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and anti-money laundering obligations.
  • To issue invoices and process payments.

    • Who we share it with

    We disclose personal data only to government authorities as part of your instructions, to service providers who help us operate (such as payment processors, IT and cloud providers) under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.

    Retention

    We keep records for as long as needed to provide our services and as required by the Companies Act 2016, tax laws and other regulations.
